Ann Jayaram

Ann Jayaram is a board-certified oculoplastic surgeon and serves as the surgeon at ellevateMD in Atherton. She is also a board-certified ophthalmologist. Her eyelid fellowship at Tufts Medical Center, New England Eye Center covered facial trauma, cosmetic enhancement, cancer lesion management and injectables. She has performed over 7,000 eyelid and ocular procedures.

Her training began at Stanford University, where she earned a BS in Biological Sciences and a BA in Communication. She then earned an MD with Honors in Research at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, completed an internal medicine internship at University of Chicago NorthShore Health System, and finished an ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University. She also has advanced training in facial anatomy.

Her focus is upper and lower eyelid surgery, including double eyelid surgery and eye bag removal, along with the Ellevate Lid Lift, her signature upper eyelid technique. She has experience with Asian blepharoplasty, and her scarless eye bag removal uses strategically placed incisions. She also performs non-surgical treatments around the eye. Before surgery she takes precise measurements and maps the eyelids to balance lift with eye closure and eye health. She examines eyelids in person and advises whether surgery, a non-surgical option or waiting is the better next step. She uses a conservative approach.
