Ani Apinyan

Ani Apinyan is the founder of Maven Medi Spa, where she works as a Family Nurse Practitioner focused on medical aesthetics. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and she is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Before moving into aesthetic work full time, she spent seven years in bedside nursing.

Her additional training includes injectables, biostimulators, thread lifts, laser procedures and hormone replacement therapy. She personally performs all Botox appointments and all filler treatments at the practice. Lip enhancement is a particular specialty. Her approach favors natural-looking results and treatments that bolster a client's confidence.

Each treatment begins with an assessment of proportion, symmetry, balance, and light and shadow. Botox plans are built around the patient's facial anatomy and movement patterns before any injection. For jawline filler, she examines how the chin, jaw angle and midface relate before choosing product and volume. Cheek filler starts with an anatomical assessment, several photographs taken from different angles, and mapping of the injection zones.
