About
Angela Zhou works as a visual artist and photographer at AZ Art Studio. Her art draws on Chinese visual culture, film-style narrative, portrait work and makeup artistry.
In photography, she has worked as a media photographer at the Asian World Film Festival, capturing attendees, guests and key moments. She has also shot movie premieres and behind-the-scenes footage. For UCR Extension, she produced introductory and social media content. She was invited to attend the Chinese American Film Festival and the Influencer Economy Forum in a media role.
She is the founder of the Asian Artist Mutual Foundation (AAMF).

- She uses light, styling and atmosphere to bring out character and emotion in images, and treats each project as a complete visual narrative from concept and styling through to the final frame.
