Angela Calisti

Angela Calisti founded Beauty Social Salon. A celebrity hairstylist and educator, she has worked in the industry for more than 15 years. Her specialties cover balayage, custom color, blonding, highlights, dry cuts, long hair, and bridal hair and makeup. She trained under John Barrett and Oscar Blandi.

Her credits span red carpets, fashion campaigns, film sets, New York Fashion Week, film festivals and press tours. Among the clients she has styled are Bella Thorne, Sofia Richie, Lori Harvey, Olivia Culpo and Jenna Ortega. From 2021 through 2024 she was Bella Thorne's personal hairstylist, and during that period she ran the salon while training staff remotely. Her profile also grew through the E! series Married to Jonas.

Bridal is a core part of her practice. She spent eight years in bridal beauty at a New York City bridal agency and has more than a decade of bridal hair and makeup experience. She has worked on New York Bridal Fashion Week shows for the designers Jenny Yoo and Dennis Basso, and she usually builds a close working relationship with brides across the wedding planning process.
