About
Anetta Jackson is a licensed esthetician and instructor at The Retreat Day Spa in Birmingham, Alabama, where she began working in September 2018. She trained as an esthetician in Slovakia more than 20 years ago and has been licensed in Alabama since 2000. Before joining The Retreat, she spent 15 years at Halcyon Day Spa.
Her specialties are facials, waxing and dermaplaning. She is also skilled with microdermabrasion and adds Oxygen Treatment to facials. For hair removal she uses NuFree, a botanical product that does not involve wax.
She also teaches aesthetics and was one of the instructors at Skinactics School of Esthetics. The spa describes her as respected for her intuition and gentle touch, and for helping clients feel at ease.
