Andrew Russ

Andrew Russ is the founder of The Botox Spot, where he serves as lead aesthetic provider. He is a PA-C and holds a master's in Physician Assistant Sciences from Loma Linda University, completed in 2016. Before that, he earned a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences at California State University, San Bernardino, and worked as a registered dietitian from 2008. He sees patients each week. He entered full-time dermatology practice as a physician assistant in 2016. For five years he worked with dermatologist Dr. Ingrid Trenkle and Norberto Collins across medical dermatology, aesthetic medicine, lasers and skin procedures. He was the practice's dedicated laser provider for pigment, vascular, ablative and non-ablative resurfacing, fractional work and hair reduction. He also joined Mohs surgical teams for surgical excisions, though he is not a Mohs surgeon and did not perform Mohs independently. Neuromodulators have been his main focus, and he has used Botox, Dysport and Daxxify extensively across thousands of treatments. His advanced injectable interests include masseter treatment, platysmal bands, the chin, gummy smile, nasal flare and lip flip. His laser experience includes Candela PicoWay, Cutera Excel V, Lumenis M22 IPL, Candela CORE2 CO2, Lumenis UltraPulse CO2 and Clear + Brilliant. He has completed continuing education in Sculptra, Bellafill, PicoWay, vascular occlusion management, the Allergan injectable portfolio, SkinPen, Daxxify and DEKA devices. These courses are not board certifications in dermatology. He has trained and mentored nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and students in aesthetic procedures.
