Andrea Trowers

Andrea Trowers owns Andrea Trowers Dermatology in Miami Shores. She is a board certified dermatologist, and her areas of expertise are cosmetic dermatology, laser hair removal and pediatric dermatology. Before opening her own practice, she worked alongside several cosmetic dermatologists in Miami. Her training began at Georgetown University, from which she graduated a year early, followed by medical school at Emory University. She completed a dermatology residency at Case Western University, where she was chosen as Chief Resident, and then a pediatric dermatology fellowship at the University of Miami under Dr. Lawrence Schachner. She is only the second dermatologist from the United States to complete that fellowship. She has served on the faculty of the University of Miami's Department of Dermatology and remains voluntary faculty there. In her day-to-day work she performs filler and toxin injections, including Voluma, Restylane and Botox, and removes moles. Her approach to dark spots includes working out what causes them as well as clearing them.
