Andrea Medel

Andrea Medel is a certified physician assistant with a dermatology specialty. She has spent more than 13 years in medicine, working in dermatology, emergency medicine and urgent care. Her dermatology practice covers acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and warts, and she also detects and helps prevent skin cancer. She holds a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Barnard College of Columbia University, earned cum laude, and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from Seton Hall University. At graduation she was admitted to Alpha Eta, the honor society for allied health professions, and to Pi Alpha, the honor society for physician assistants. She also received the Academic Excellence Award at graduation. She belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
