About
Andrea Elise Velez is the owner and lead educator of Makeup + Style San Diego, and has owned the studio for six years. She started in the beauty industry at MAC Cosmetics, where she learned to build looks suited to each person's style. She has serviced hundreds of brides and clients in San Diego and is ranked the #1 Makeup Artist in San Diego.
She holds a cosmetology license from Paul Mitchell and trained there in bridal styling and special-occasion hair styles. She also received lash training in classic and volume lashing at Paul Mitchell.
Andrea founded the Makeup Academy at the studio and the Look Good Feel Good volunteer and mentor program for aspiring makeup artists and hair stylists.
