Andrea Betancourt

Andrea Betancourt is the founder of Black Parade Beauty Company and works as its makeup artist. She has more than two decades of experience in the beauty industry, and her career has spanned makeup artistry, retail beauty, education, leadership and brand work, including projects with Sephora, Estée Lauder and MAC Cosmetics. She also works as a beauty educator.

She holds an esthetics license and pursued that training at Paul Mitchell the School Austin. Before opening the studio she spent two years specializing in waxing, with a focus on speed and technique. She offers makeup, lashes, brows, waxing and skin services.

Her makeup work covers beauty, bridal, editorial, commercial, production, television, music video and special events, as well as theatrical and Halloween looks for costume events, themed shoots and character work. For production work she plans looks around lighting, long shoot days, continuity and shifting direction, and her clients include photographers, producers, brands and creative teams. Past production projects include work for Indian Motorcycle, HBO and Better Mortgage. Makeup is tailored to each person's features, personal style and the project at hand. She also teaches one-on-one makeup lessons and provides personal shopping for makeup, skincare and tools.
