About
Andrea Beckwith owns Orange Poppy 5 Element Acupuncture, which she founded in 2012. She is a licensed acupuncturist with the Washington Department of Health and is certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a Diplomate of Acupuncture. She is a member of the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She trained through a 3000-hour professional program in Five Element acupuncture at the Wu Hsing Tao School in Seattle, finishing in 2012; that program included 1080 hours of supervised clinical practice. She is a graduate of the White Pine Institute and completed the Graduate Mentorship Herbal Studies Program from 2021 to 2026. Her degrees are a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Michigan University and a Master of Science in Horticulture from Michigan State University. Her clinical focus includes acute and persistent chronic pain, anxiety and women's health concerns. She holds a Clean Needle Technique Certification, is certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association, and holds a Facial Acupuncture Certification in the Gellis AcuLift System dated 2026. She continues to study classical Chinese Medicine.
