Anam Tharoo, M.D.

Dr. Anam Tharoo founded MedSuite at Castle Hills, where she serves as medical director. She holds board certification in family medicine and belongs to the American Board of Family Medicine as well as the Society of Hospital Medicine. Her academic path includes a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida, a Master in Public Health concentrating on healthcare management from Emory University, and a medical degree (MD) from Ross University School of Medicine. After medical school, she completed a three-year family medicine residency at Baylor Garland, where she was chief resident during the last year. Across hospital settings, she has worked as a hospitalist handling primary, urgent and occupational medicine, and has provided consultations in adult medicine, cardiac care, orthopedics and intensive care units. She also works in a wound care center when needed. She is vice chief of staff at Carrollton Regional Medical Center and co-chairs the ethics committee at Baylor Scott and White Carrollton. In her own practice, she concentrates on women of every age who want both medical and cosmetic outcomes, and she provides care to patients in Denton County and surrounding communities. She is also certified in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).
