Analysa Gallegos, MD

Dr. Gallegos founded The Derm Project and is its Medical Director. She holds a medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Her residency in emergency medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center included a term as Chief Resident. She has been on the staff of The Woman's Hospital of Texas since 2019 and is now Chief of its Department of Emergency Medicine. That emergency medicine leadership informs her attention to patient safety and evidence-based practice. Her patients include women dealing with menopause or with skin concerns tied to their skin tone, as well as people who have felt unheard or unsupported in conventional medical settings.
