About
Ana Aldaravi is a color artist at Nova Arts Salon, the sustainable hair salon on South Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles. She started working behind the chair at 17, right after finishing cosmetology training. At 20 she moved to Madrid, where she worked backstage at Fashion Week with MAC Cosmetics on both hair and makeup. After moving to the United States in 2019, she worked in three states before settling in Los Angeles, spent a year in Beverly Hills, and then joined the salon.
Her color work centers on highlights, babylights and freehand painting, and she also styles hair with a focus on volume, shape and texture. She regards hair as a form of self-expression, and her color is meant to look soft, dimensional and natural, with a result that grows out well.
