Amy Strong

Dr. Amy Strong is a board-certified plastic surgeon with Marietta Plastic Surgery, treating the face, breast and body at the practice's Marietta and Woodstock offices. Her certification comes from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and she holds a full Georgia medical license. She previously practiced facial aesthetics at the Center for Plastic Surgery in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her education at Emory University, Tufts University School of Medicine and Tulane University School of Medicine, earning both an MD and a PhD. Her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency lasted seven years at the University of Michigan, where she was also Resident Director of the Michigan Promise Leadership Program. Her postdoctoral research examined fat grafting and adipose stem cells, and her interest in the face developed during that residency. She has served on the Aesthetic Surgery Education Task Force and the ACAPS Education Committee and has published peer-reviewed work on facial rejuvenation. Her clinical focus includes facial rejuvenation, Mommy Makeovers, body contouring, and cosmetic procedures designed for melanated skin. Her honors include the ASERF Resident Travel Scholarship, the University of Michigan Surgeon Scientist Accelerator Track Award, a Young Investigator Award from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, the Tulane University Debakey Scholars Award, and an NIH/NIEHS Travel Award. Her memberships include the AMA, ACS, ASPS, ACAPS, PSRC, AAS and IFATS. She is working to build ongoing patient relationships throughout metro Atlanta.
