Amy Leavell Bransford is the founder of Aviary Beauty + Wellness, where she serves as owner and lead esthetician at the Old Fourth Ward and Summerhill studios. Her first studio opened in Old Fourth Ward in 2009. Before that, she worked as a publicist for musical acts including Cake, 311 and Widespread Panic. In 2017 she added SparrowHawk, a tattoo studio inside Studioplex Lofts that offers traditional and cosmetic tattooing. She chooses the beauty brands sold in the studios' retail areas. According to the salon, Atlanta Magazine named her among the city's beauty pioneers. Outside the business, she has volunteered, raised funds and held chair roles for Dream Warriors Foundation, Inman Park Festival, Westchester Elementary School and Community Farmers Markets.
