Amy Edwards

Amy Edwards is a stylist and colorist at Amy Edwards Hair. She works at The Local Salon in Burbank on Wednesdays, Fridays and every other Saturday, and at the Woodland Hills salon on Thursdays and every other Saturday. She has worked as a hair stylist for approximately 30 years and has been a featured stylist in salons, at hair shows and with product companies across the United States.

She works as an in-salon educator. In 2015 she became a specialist in Natulique Certified Organic products, moving away from traditional salon products, and she uses Natulique for balayage, perming and defrizzing. She believes hair health matters as much as a good cut and color.

When choosing a look, she studies each client's hair texture and color, face shape and skin tone, then talks through what the client wants to achieve and gives feedback so the style is one the client can maintain.
