Amena DeLuca, M.D., FAAD

Amena DeLuca, M.D., FAAD, practices as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Camelback Dermatology & Skin Surgery in Phoenix. She is double board-certified in dermatology and holds the FAAD credential. She began her studies with an undergraduate biology degree at Arizona State University, then earned a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Arizona. During medical school she spent a one-year research fellowship on melanoma genetics at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her internship in internal medicine was at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She then completed her dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins, where she was chief resident in her final year. She later finished a fellowship in Mohs surgery and cosmetic procedures at California Skin Institute. Her primary interests are general dermatology and skin cancer. Her specialties include Mohs surgery and Superficial Radiation Treatment. She treats acne scarring and keloids and also performs chemical peels, neuromodulator and filler injections, and laser resurfacing. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles on cutaneous oncology. She belongs to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the Phoenix Dermatologic Society. She speaks English.
