Ame Metcalfe

Ame Metcalfe launched her career in 1990 and has owned a salon since 1998. She co-owns D'Ametri's with Dennis Metcalfe and works as a stylist on the floor. Her specialties include balayage and ombre, along with custom looks designed around each client's features and lifestyle. She holds the American Board Certified Hair Colorist credential and is an Aveda Hair Color Ambassador.

Her training includes Aveda business college and certification in cosmetology, along with a range of cutting and texture methods: razor cutting; English, dry, French, British and Japanese cutting; Japanese straightening; Brazilian blowout; beach wave perm; and ISO spiral perms. She also holds certifications in Easi Pro, Great Lengths and Revive hair restoration extensions, and holds certifications in Siggers Inc, Billy Yamaguchi, Feng Shui Beauty, true skin and eye colors, and Inspiring Champions industry coaching.

She has won first place in Colorado and second at the Nationals in hair competitions. Beyond her own work, she coaches the team and other industry professionals on technical, business and communication skills.
