Amber

Amber is a cutter and educator at HAUS North Loop, where she is also listed as a hair extension specialist. She is an ambassador for R+CO and R+CO Bleu and a master haircutter. Her cutting and styling spans relaxed, undone looks, bangs in many lengths and densities, trendy shapes and modern barbering cuts. She also cuts texture, shags, mixies, classic fades and razor cuts, and works with curly and natural hair of every texture. As a product expert, she advises on home hair care, treats hard water buildup, and suggests a detox and a deep conditioning treatment for new clients. She trained at Aveda Institute in Northeast Minneapolis and then spent nearly a decade working in Aveda salons in Atlanta and the Twin Cities after graduating. Among the educators she has studied under are Thom Prian, Garren, Howard McLaren, Beau Bollinger, Fateemah Ampey, Stephen Moody, Corrina Hernandez and Jayne Matthews, along with others. Haircuts cost $155 and blow-dries cost $140, and hair extensions are by consultation.
