Amayrany Maya-Mora

Amayrany Maya-Mora founded Calia Wellness & Aesthetics, PLLC in Austin, where she serves as clinical director. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Her nursing career started in 2018 as a registered nurse in outpatient neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White. In 2019 she worked as a public health nurse with The University of Texas at Austin, and she later practiced as a family nurse practitioner at CommunityCare Health Centers and in urgent care at Victory Medical Center, both in Austin. She also teaches nursing students as a Clinical Nursing Instructor at Austin Community College. Her experience across critical care, neurosurgery, primary care and integrative wellness adds up to more than nine years in healthcare. Her clinical interests include hormone and thyroid optimization, PCOS, medical weight management, metabolic health and aesthetic medicine, and she sees patients in English and Spanish. She is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at UTMB Galveston.
