Amanda Walker

Amanda Walker is the founder and aesthetic specialist at The Treatment Room. She has more than 20 years in medical aesthetics, and her career began in healthcare and aesthetics two decades ago. She opened the practice after stints at large practices and high-volume med spas. Her injectable work includes dermal fillers, wrinkle relaxers and biostimulators, along with skin rejuvenation using microneedling, PRP and peels. She also offers facials tailored to each client and long-term treatment planning. With fillers, she starts with small amounts and builds over time if needed, and she tailors each wrinkle relaxer treatment to the way a client's face moves and expresses. She starts by assessing a client's skin and goals, explains the options, and offers frank input on which outcomes are realistic. She suggests only treatments she thinks fit the client, and decisions are made together. Her priorities are long-term skin health and supporting natural collagen, and she leans toward options that build up the body's own collagen rather than only adding instant volume.
