Amanda Vontrice Gaskin

Amanda Vontrice Gaskin founded Ultimate Health Direct Primary Care in 2021, where she works as its nurse practitioner. She holds National Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner and has Nurse Practitioner licensure in Adult-Geriatric Medicine. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida. Her areas of focus are preventive care and mental health.

Her health care career began in 2006 on a medical/surgical unit in Winter Haven, Florida. She later took on a leadership position at Central Florida Health Care, a community health center, where she supervised nursing staff. During graduate school, she worked on the inpatient hospice and palliative care unit at Lakeland Regional Hospital.

In 2016 she moved to Lake County to join Lifestream Behavioral Center. There she was the only clinician at the WIN Clinic, which provides primary care inside a behavioral health center and treats people with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. The U.S. SBA named her the 2025 Florida and North Florida District Woman-Owned Small Business Person of the Year.
