About
Amanda Ophals is the owner and master stylist of Suite 1, and she founded Shine Salon Suites after building her own business from the ground up. She holds a Licensed Advanced Cosmetologist license and has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.
Her training includes advanced color and cutting courses with Redken, plus hands-on training at Redken 5th Avenue in New York City. She is IBE certified in Invisible Bead Extensions, and she became the first certified IBE stylist in Medina County in March 2022. Her extension work covers hand-tied wefts, tape-in extensions and keratin bond extensions.
Her services include a women's precision cut shaped to face shape and hair type (60 minutes), a men's classic or modern cut (30 minutes), single-process color and root touch-ups (90 minutes), full foil highlights (180 minutes) and balayage (180 minutes). Global keratin smoothing, aimed at reducing frizz and adding shine, takes 150 minutes. Hand-tied weft installs include a consultation and take 240 minutes, tape-in installs take 180 minutes and keratin bond installs take 240 minutes. Blowouts (45 minutes) and facial waxing for brow, lip and chin shaping (15 minutes) are also available.
