Amanda Maddalena

Amanda Maddalena owns AM Salon, where she works as a hairstylist and leads the team. She has been in the hair industry since 2005, training in cosmetology at Hunterdon County Polytech. Competing through SkillsUSA, she placed second in New Jersey for hair cutting, styling and up-do looks.

She has done hair extension work since 2007, using several methods. She is a Certified Hair Extension Educator for Jewell Hair Co., is listed as an East Coast Educator for Jewell Hair Co., and is a National Educator for Jack Winn Pro. She teaches the Hidden Jewell Method extension class at AM Salon and at other salons, and hairstylists can book her for a sewn-in extension class. Her teaching also includes blonding and dimensional color. She is currently taking new clients for balayage, modern blonding, foiling and hair extensions.

Her training continues. She has completed six yearly Jack Winn Pro summit trainings and advanced courses in New York City, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, California, Texas, New Orleans, Orlando, Miami, Chicago, Nashville and various New Jersey locations. Her recent study covers hair color, balayage, cutting, foiling, keratin, and several extension and topper methods.
