Amalia (Lala)

Amalia is the owner and solo esthetician at A Sugard Cookie, and she created the studio. She started working as a lash artist at 16 and worked in lashes for about eight years before starting the studio. She also previously built The Wink Studios.

Her focus is Brazilian waxing, and her signature is the 15-minute Brazilian wax. She also offers body waxing and vajacials, a personalized skincare service that she tailors to each client's skin type and concerns, and she offers vajacials for clients who struggle with ingrown hairs. Her sugaring technique has been developed over four years, and she works with 250 to 300 clients a month.

She trains new waxers and meets with them monthly after their initial training, and she has trained in Becoming A Sugar Mami. She regularly works with clients who have sensitive skin and adjusts technique and products for them.
