Amal Khaled

Amal Khaled is the lead practitioner at Acu Hijama, where she provides acupuncture alongside the clinic's cupping, herbal, homeopathic and leech treatments. She has worked as a practitioner for more than ten years. Her training includes a Master's in Oriental Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences, finished in 2017, and a Diploma in Clinical Homeopathy completed in 2020. Earlier academic credentials include a Bachelor's in Business Management from National Lewis University (2009) and an Associate in Science in Office System Technology from Oakton Community College (2003). She is board-certified in Oriental Medicine. Her credential as a Certified Hijama Practitioner for cupping therapy has been held since 2021. In 2020 she received certification in the Royal Method of Modern Leech Therapy from BAH. Her practice spans hijama, acupuncture, herbal and Chinese medicine, homeopathy and leech therapy.
