Alyse DeBellis

Alyse DeBellis is the founder and Lead Creative Director of Carbon Halo. She started sweeping floors in local salons at 14 and earned a cosmetology license through a BOCES program in high school, graduating in 2002. She then trained at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, California, on a scholarship, studying haircutting techniques.

Her career includes assisting Joel Warren at Warren Tricomi salons in Greenwich, Connecticut, and Rita Hazan at her salon in New York City. She went on to found an in-home salon business, where her team traveled to clients for color, highlights, cuts and styling. Bridal hair became a specialty of hers, with her team styling brides and wedding parties across the country.

She specializes in dimensional color, precision cutting and extensions, and has a particular interest in updos and special-event styling. She believes luxury should always feel welcoming.
