Allison Tegano

Allison Tegano owns and operates The Pin Up Girl Beauty Studio in Howell, NJ, and has been a licensed cosmetologist for 23 years. She also holds a license as a cosmetology and skin care instructor in both public and private sectors and has been teaching cosmetology and skin care for more than 19 years. She teaches at local cosmetology schools and programs and runs advanced training seminars at the studio. She has run her freelance bridal business under the Pin Up Girl name for about ten years.

Her skin training includes certification as a medical esthetician and holistic skin specialist, a holistic acne specialty, certification as a ProCell practitioner and educator, and certification as a hydrafacialist. She is also a Dermalogica expert and an IS Clinical partner, and holds certification as a holistic wellness coach and work as a Reiki practitioner. She is a wellness advocate with doTERRA essential oils.

In makeup, she holds a master airbrush certificate from Temptu in New York City, and she has trained with Dani Fonseca of The Body of Art. She has also trained with hair artists Martin Parsons and Anna Cantu and continues her education with Chic Studios, MAC and MUD NYC, attending trade shows each year. Her work blends classic Pin Up era styles with current industry techniques.
