Alla D owns Hair by Alla D and works as the owner stylist from the second-floor studio in Edina. She has over 20 years of experience in cutting, coloring and styling hair, and has done hair extension work for 15 years. Her training includes techniques from Vidal Sassoon, Aquage and TiGi, along with advanced coloring training from Wella. She has taken classes with celebrity stylists Nick Arroja and Diana Volek and stays current by attending hair shows in New York and Chicago. She is an Evolve certified stylist, and she is among a small group of Evolve certified stylists in the Twin Cities. Her work includes hair extensions, where she guides clients toward the right type and system for them. She also does cut and color work such as all-over color, partial highlights and ombre, handles wig color, cutting and styling, and offers the Evolve Volumizer for thinning hair.
