Alison Ashley

Alison Ashley is the owner of The Vertical Wellness Spa and a licensed electrologist in Los Angeles, holding a California electrologist license. She trained at an electrology school before becoming licensed, and she has been practicing electrology at her Los Angeles studio since 2003. Her electrolysis work covers men and women across the body and face, including eyebrow shaping, and she has worked with hundreds of women with PCOS and other hormonal hair growth.

She has expanded the studio into wellness coaching and holds a Certified Life Performance Coach credential, a Certified Health and Wellness coach credential and a life coaching certification. Her coaching specialties include life and health coaching, nutritional meal planning, stress management and weight loss support. She also works with teens, families and at-risk youth.

She works with difficult hair types, including curved, kinky, thick, curly and blonde hair. Her technique is one-handed with precise insertions, and she takes a holistic view of each client and their specific needs. She pays close attention to comfort during aftercare and has helped men and women of all ages, skin types and hair types.
