Ali Babai

Ali Babai is the master stylist at Artimes Hair Studio, working from Studio 15 at Sola Salons San Marcos West. He began in fashion and beauty in Dubai as a male model before moving into hair. He completed cosmetology school at Schwarzkopf in 1993 and then taught there for about three years.

His earlier work included splitting time between a high-end salon in Dubai and his own salon in Tehran, followed by five years at the Prestige salon in Van and Istanbul, Turkey. There he did hair shows, cutting and coloring classes, and teaching. He moved to the United States in 2005, and he holds a California license received in 2007. He has worked as a master stylist in high-end salons.
