About
Alfredo Contrera is the founder and creative director of Alfredo James Hair Design and a master colorist with more than 15 years of experience. He trained in Palm Beach, Denver and Seattle before bringing his colorist work to San Antonio.
He created the AJ Method, the salon's signature balayage, which designs color placement around the face and head shape. He teaches the method to every artist on the team.
