About
Alexis Papiomitis works as a licensed registered professional nurse and charge nurse in the emergency department at Bayshore Medical Center, a facility within Hackensack Meridian Health, and mentors newly hired nurses there. Emergency care is her area, and she has spent four years in that unit. At the medical center she chairs the Professional Practice committee and shares co-leadership of unit-based council meetings. In her first year there she received the It's Only the Beginning Award from Bayshore Medical Center.
She earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Ocean County College in 2015, completing its Nursing Program, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kean University in 2018. Her certifications include Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
She holds certification in all cosmetic laser treatments and has worked at Cosmedx Comfort since her college years.
