Alexandria Russell

At Maryville Acupuncture, Alexandria Russell practices with D.Ac. and L.Ac. credentials. She holds Tennessee acupuncture license number 460 and is a Diplomate of Acupuncture with NCCAOM. She finished first in her class at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in 2021, received a Doctorate of Acupuncture from Five Branches University in 2022, and completed Zheng Gui TuiNa training in 2019.

Her earlier education includes a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology, earned summa cum laude from Old Dominion University in 2016. That same year she obtained an RYT-200 yoga teacher certification from Atma Bodha Yoga. Her specialties are general wellness, psycho-emotional support, orthopedic pain, digestive health, and fertility and reproductive care. She serves as an active board member of the Tennessee Acupuncture Council, sits on the nominations committee of the American Society of Acupuncturists, and mentors students who are early in their acupuncture careers.
