Alexandria Angel

Alexandria Angel is the founder and CEO of Ms. Painted Lady and MPL. She began her makeup career in 1999, when she was signed to a modeling agency as lead makeup artist. She graduated as valedictorian with a cosmetology degree in 2005 and holds certifications in runway and print makeup. She founded Ms. Painted Lady in 2008 and began training makeup artists in workshops in 2011. From 2012 she ran a nationwide search for elite makeup artists to form a team, and the MPL side of the business came together in 2021 with her final artist. Her specialty is South Asian and Indian bridal makeup. She is known for a thorough approach and innovative techniques, fusing traditional and modern aesthetics, and is nationally recognized in the South Asian wedding community. She celebrated her one thousandth Desi wedding in June 2022.
