Alexa Pedersen (Lex)

Alexa Pedersen owns Project 9 by LexPed, which she founded as a private, one-on-one barber studio. She is a master barber and a professionally licensed New York State barber, with more than 8 years of barbering experience. She started barbering in 2017, shortly after graduating college.

Her training includes completing barber school and a bachelor's degree in business with a minor in graphic design. She has traveled across the country to learn from educators in business and barbering, and she now teaches advanced cutting techniques and business systems to beauty professionals.

She focuses on short haircuts, skin fades, tapers, beard work and clean shear cuts, and she is skilled in advanced scissor cutting. She welcomes clients who want someone to listen, some encouragement and humor, or help feeling their best.
