Alexa Paredes

Alexa Paredes is a licensed massage therapist practicing in Northern Virginia and in the District of Columbia. She holds the LMT license, is board certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork (BCTMB), and holds the CLT credential. She completed certification in manual lymphatic drainage and bandaging in May 2016.

Her practice includes manual lymphatic drainage, neuromuscular therapy, orthopedic massage, myofascial release, myoskeletal alignment techniques, AIS stretching and prenatal massage. She has spent ten years mastering trigger point therapy, and eight years studying physical therapy assistant techniques within clinical sports massage therapy. She has also studied with advanced instructors in massage, sports injury and rehabilitation, stretching and exercise.

For more than 20 years she has worked with people of all ages, including clients recovering from recent injuries, chronic soft tissue injuries, surgery, and cancer, as well as those with inflammatory diseases.
