Alex Swanson co-founded Twelve Summers with Mel Landis and is one of its owners. She specializes in Kibbe Body Typing, which places clients into one of five body types: Dramatic, Romantic, Natural, Classic or Gamine. Kibbe Body Typing is reserved for clients ages 18 and up and is offered to women only, since the charts were created for women.
Her other specialties include seasonal color analysis, which identifies a Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter palette from skin tone, hair and eyes; curated facial styling, a makeup approach built on facial contours and features; and closet curation, which streamlines a wardrobe and builds outfit combinations.
