Alex is the nail artist and owner of DECO Beauty Club. She began a nail career in 2021 and trained by apprenticing under Nancy Nguyen at Get Nailed Beauty Lounge in Portland, Maine. She opened DECO Beauty Club in 2022 in Maine and later relocated the studio to Charlotte. She specializes in highly intricate handpainted nail art, including recreations of movie aesthetics, niche character sets and fine art pieces. Her work balances function and fashion in nail design. Inspiration comes from everyday life, movies, character sets and museum fine art, and new techniques are continually being developed. She welcomes clients looking for a non-traditional salon visit where they can try things out and have fun.
