Alex Asher

Alex Asher founded SCALPS and works there as its SMP artist. He focuses on scalp micropigmentation, including shaved-look finishes, density work and hairline design, and he also takes on scar camouflage. He tailors each treatment to the individual, adjusting hairline, pigment tone and density over the course of several sessions. Prospective clients can book a consultation to ask where to begin, how the hairline might be designed, how many sessions to expect and what it will cost; these meetings also cover whether SMP is a good fit, the design plan, pricing and aftercare. He won the 2021/22 Prestige Awards title of Scalp Micropigmentation Specialist of the Year for East Coast USA, was named Scalp Micropigmentation Specialist of the Year by The CIO Today in 2022, placed second with a 2023 Silver Award for Best SMP Artist in North America, and was recognized by Meeting of Minds in 2023. He is also listed among The NYC Journal's top 30 beauty-industry personalities for 2022 and Disruptors Magazine's top 20 entrepreneurs for 2023.
