Alena Leathers

Alena Leathers is the founder of Elevated Esthetics by Alena. She came to esthetics after earlier work at a veterinary clinic, where she eventually managed the boarding and daycare department, and later in the dental field. She enrolled in esthetics school at thirty, training at Summit Salon Academy Kansas City in its night esthetics program, and was the first graduate of that night class.

She went on to pursue CIDESCO diploma training and holds the CIDESCO Diplomat certification. She is also a certified Procell Therapies provider and a licensed esthetician, and she continues to study skin science and take advanced education.

Her work covers facials, advanced skin treatments, waxing, and corrective skincare. She is known for a massage technique built around flow, pressure, and rhythm. Her approach starts with the skin's function, and she works with clients to build a skin plan they can keep up at home.
