Albert Yang, MD

Albert Yang, MD is the surgeon and founder of the practice. He practices facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on the face, nose, eyes, brow, neck and jawline, and also works on the ear, jaw and chin. He performs every consultation personally at the Bellevue clinic.

He trained at the University of California, San Diego, where he earned an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. He then earned a Master of Science in Stem Cell Biology and Human Nutrition from Columbia University and a Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University. His residency in Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgery was completed at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also completed fellowship training in facial aesthetics at Emory University and Premier Image Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Center, a fellowship accredited by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He tailors each procedure to the anatomy involved, such as cartilage, bone, dermis or fat, and works out which tissue layers play a part in a concern before recommending a procedure or combination. His facelift work targets the deeper structure of the face rather than the skin alone, and his rhinoplasty reshapes cartilage and bone, with long-term breathing kept in view. He is candid about whether surgery is the right answer, and may suggest non-surgical options or waiting.
