About
Alana Berdiyev founded Body Balance, where she serves as medical director. She is a nurse practitioner who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seattle University. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), and her ARNP license in Washington State carries full prescribing authority for bioidentical hormone therapy and testosterone replacement therapy. Before opening the practice, she trained and worked in high-acuity hospital settings, with experience in surgical care, oncology and women's health. Her clinical focus spans hormone therapy, medical weight loss and women's health, the last including preventive and contraceptive care. Advanced procedures she performs include vaginal rejuvenation and testosterone pellet therapy. She also gives the complete range of injectable treatments, among them Botox and dermal fillers, and offers the full laser menu, where she is the sole provider for resurfacing, scar revision, hair, vascular and intimate wellness treatments. She manages hormone therapy, medical weight loss and women's health as one integrated plan. She is one of the few Clark County providers combining those three areas, and she holds that a normal lab result does not rule out treatment when symptoms continue. She is a member of The Menopause Society, previously known as the North American Menopause Society. Patients describe her as listening until she understands. She is onsite in Camas as medical director.
