About
Akash works as a licensed massage therapist at ECHO and holds an RYT600 credential. His bodywork covers deep tissue work, myofascial release, sports massage, cranial sacral therapy, osteopathic medicine techniques, tui na, gua sha and cupping. He works with people recovering from injury, surgery or chronic pain, with the aim of improving mobility and performance. He has trained and worked alongside medical doctors, naturopathic physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists. Yoga, meditation, tai chi and qi gong have been part of his practice for more than 26 years, and he brings that experience into his bodywork.
