Aisha J is the Master Stylist and Loctician at Styles By Aisha J, bringing nearly two decades of work in natural hair and loc care. She has worked in salons across Washington, DC, Baltimore and the wider DMV. She has also worked behind the scenes at hair and fashion shows, where she styled and prepared models for runway presentations and special event appearances. Her loc services include starter locs, retwisting, maintenance, repair, extensions and coloring, across microlocs, Sisterlocks, interlocking and traditional locs. She also takes on hair recovering from tension damage, thinning at the root of locs, and alopecia and scalp concerns. For loose natural hair, her services include twists, wet sets, natural braiding, curl definition and silk press. She works with textures from fine and fragile to thick and coily, and with clients at every stage from starter to mature locs, in Manassas and across Northern Virginia. She also created Crown Care Academy by Aisha J, which teaches loc construction, loc repair, scalp science and the business of loc work.
