About
Aimee Hookstra is the owner and esthetician of Skin by AIMEE. She graduated from Vogue College in 2005 with an esthetician degree and began working as an esthetician that same year.
Her first role after training was lead esthetician at milk + honey spa in Austin, where she helped open two locations. In 2008 she joined The Waxing Studio, where she developed a 15-minute Brazilian wax. In 2012 she opened and co-owned Hey Gorgeous Waxing and Skin Studio and ran it for eight years.
She describes her approach to waxing as calm and attentive, with an emphasis on speed, quality, cleanliness and professionalism.
