About
Aicha Kamara owns and founded Aicha Hair and also teaches for Aicha Hair Academy. She started braiding at 14 and opened the first Aicha Hair shop in 2013, at age 20.
She taught herself to braid with a focus on women dealing with alopecia, hair loss and thinning hair. She later trained at cosmetology school, with the aim of becoming a teacher.
She started the Lavie Of The World nonprofit in 2019, began making hair and skin care products in 2020, and opened Aicha Hair Academy to help aspiring hair stylists learn and grow.
