Afton

Afton is the owner stylist at Evergreen Hair Studio in Vista, with 23 years of experience as a hairstylist. She trained at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis after high school, then apprenticed under experienced stylists in the Chicago suburbs and spent eight years building her skills there.

In 2012 she returned to Nebraska and settled in Lincoln, where she worked at an Aveda salon before opening a salon and boutique of her own. After fourteen years in Nebraska she moved to Vista, California, where she now runs the studio.

Her work centers on natural-looking color, grey blending and coverage, low-maintenance highlights, and cuts. She works with women who want their hair to look good without needing frequent salon visits, and she keeps up with new techniques and industry trends.
