Adriana McGowan

Adriana McGowan owns The Top Knot Salon and works there as a stylist, colorist and makeup artist. She began her career at 15 working as a makeup artist.

She attended cosmetology school and has trained with the cosmetic companies Chanel, Dior and Lancome. She also trained under colorists and stylists at Patrick Melville, Sahag Workshop and Roy Teeluck in Manhattan.

Her focus is low-maintenance color and cuts that suit any lifestyle, along with corrective work. Her work has been featured on runways, including New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, for designers Ronaldo Santana and Georgine. It has also appeared in national print ads for Wella and Clairol, and she has helped create signature looks for Saks Fifth Avenue.
